Cosmic Sole and Ernie's Legacy were slow to begin.
Shadow Walker, In Dee Genes and No Road collided soon after the start. In Dee Genes and No Road collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ivey's Affair, Gomer Bale and Shadow walker collided on the first turn severely checking Ivey's Affair, Cosmic Sole, Shadow Walker, In Dee Genes and No Road causing Ivey's Affair to fall and No Road to stumble and lose ground.
Shadow walker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right and left hind feet, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Ivey's Affair was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle, right shoulder injuries and an abrasion to the left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
