Why Not Hugh and Go Zippy Go collided soon after the start.  Love Laughing crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Why Not Hugh, Love Laughing and severely checking Big Bazza and Go Zippy Go, Big Bazza and Go Zippy Go contacted the running rail as a result.  Go Zippy Go galloped on Fiesty Girl on the first turn checking Fiesty Girl and severely checking Big Bazza and Go Zippy Go.  Iona Misty checked off Love Laughing approaching the home turn.  Big Bazza and Go Zippy Go collided approaching the home turn, on the home turn and entering the home straight.  

Big Bazza was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind toe and left hock, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Go Zippy Go was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left radius/ulna and left shifle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Fat Rhino and Zipping Archie were slow to begin.

Bold Reflection crossed in approaching the first turn checking Whiney Whine and Zipping Archie.  Crackerjack Jim and Zipping Archie collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Jim, Zipping Archie, Fat Rhino and Tahlia's Diamond.  Zipping Archie checked off Bold Reflection approaching the home turn.

Faithful Hill was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Urana Vee Eight and Maximum Gift were slow to begin.

Tekeela Too and Penny Rocks collided soon after the start.  Penny Rocks, Urana Vee Eight, Fess Crockett and Evelyn collided approaching the first turn checking Evelyn.  Maximum Gift raced wide on the first turn.  Urana Vee Eight checked off Maximum Gift on the second turn.  Penny Rocks checked off Fess Crockett on the second turn.  Maximum Gift faltered in the back straight and subsequently tailed off.

Rahni checked off Go Levi approaching the first turn.  Etiquette checked off Go Levi on the first turn severely checking Rahni checking Willy Mays Hayes which raced wide as a result.  Zipping Dash and Shot To Glory collided on the first turn severely checking Shot To Glory.  Emily's Kitty and Etiquette collided on the home turn.  Rahni and Shot To Glory raced wide in the home straight.

Galloping Leo, Really Magic and Koitesnko collided approaching the first turn checking Really Magic. Galloping Leo and Koitsenko collided on the first turn checking Galloping Leo.  Really Magic and Peninsula Panda collided on the first turn checking Peninsula Panda.  Koitsenko clipped the heels of Destini Trucker approaching the home turn.  Really Magic and Koitsenko collided entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms Anita Courts, the trainer of Crackerjack Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crackerjack Sam last raced on 8 December 2017 and is returning to racing from a left front toe injury.  A new declared weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2) was also declared. Crackerjack Sam last raced at 33.6kgs.

Blackhawk Parker was quick to begin.

Emperor Cruz and Crackerjack Sam collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Sam.  Scoop Jackson faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Hearing De Novo checked off Emperor Cruz on the home turn.  Cash Ownley checked off Emperor Cruz in the home straight.

Scoop Jackson was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right scapula fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Shadow Walker, In Dee Genes and No Road collided soon after the start.  In Dee Genes and No Road collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Ivey's Affair, Gomer Bale and Shadow walker collided on the first turn severely checking Ivey's Affair, Cosmic Sole, Shadow Walker, In Dee Genes and No Road causing Ivey's Affair to fall and No Road to stumble and lose ground.  

Shadow walker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right and left hind feet, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ivey's Affair was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle, right shoulder injuries and an abrasion to the left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
