Ohio Fernando, Dallas Fernando, Gin Lee's Bullet and Montana Fernando collided soon after the start, checking Gin Lee's Bullet and Dallas Fernando. Pandora's Proof galloped on Dark Tyde on the first turn, severely checking Dark Tyde, and checking Hard Man Chapta and Bakali Louis. Gin Lee's Bullet and Bakali Louis collided on the home turn. Dark Tyde finished tailed off (58L). 

Dark Tyde was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised trainer Ms Vivianne Giles that she must notify Greyhound Racing Victoria Stewards of any irregularities that may have affected the greyhounds performance pursuant to GAR 75(1). Mr. P. Bartlett subsequently advised Stewards that Dark Tyde had sustained a injury to the right calf.

Tiny Wally and Marley Moo were slow to begin.

Dyna Gunner checked off She's Fabtastic on the first turn. Ace Cruising and She's Fabtastic collided on the first turn, checking Ace Cruising. She's Fabtastic and Jello Allen collided approaching the home turn. Tiny Wally and Hope To Wyn collided on the home turn, causing Hope To Wyn to fall. Dyna Gunner checked off She's Fabtastic in the home straight.

Hope To Wyn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left should joint injury. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.

Double Date and Swell It Is were slow to begin.

Swell It Is shifted in approaching the first turn, checking My Territory, Cherokee Thunder and Double Date. Fairytale Ending and Dyna Winkler collided multiple times approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Miss Oreo Mac checked off Fairytale Ending entering the home straight. Swell It Is and Balance collided in the home straight.

Fairytale Ending was vetted and revetted following event eight. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left calf. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Ms Jess Fothergill, the trainer of Fairytale Ending, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Miss Terindah was slow to begin.

Lil Miss Earner checked off Elle's Toy soon after the start. Dyna Jenaya and How Good She collided on the first turn, checking How Good She. Dyna Jenaya, Elle's Toy and Slipperette collided approaching the home turn. Elle's Toy and Miss Terindah collided on the home turn, checking Elle's Toy.

Media Street was a late scratching at 5:02pm  on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration above the right lip. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.

Dashing Moments checked off Dashing Impulse soon after the start. Dashing Impulse checked off Haddi Bale on the first turn. MEETING COMMENTS

Satisfactory Trial Results - Luke's Gift trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 28.1kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.91, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.5L. Luke's Gift was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Matthew Reid, the trainer of Keisha's Fantasy, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Keisha's Fantasy last raced on 9 August 2017. Mr Reid stated that experienced acidosis and had been seasonal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Keisha's Fantasy trialled over the 400m from box three, weight 26.8kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.91, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 13.5L. Keisha's Fantasy was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Rocket Tears trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 28.8kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.75L. Rocket Tears was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Counting Pennies trialled over the 400m from box five, weight 30.4kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.75L. Counting Pennies was cleared.
