Steward's Report
She's A Rebel was slow to begin. Daisy Me Rollin' and Tribal Fusion collided soon after the start. She's A Rebel and Zelemar Jim collided approaching the first turn. Daisy Me Rollin' and Quavo collided on the first turn. Tribal Fusion, Daisy Me Rollin' and Quavo collided approaching the second turn checking Tribal Fusion and Daisy Me Rollin'. Tribal Fusion and Daisy Me Rollin' collided on the second turn. Quavo and Zelemar Jim collided on the second turn and again in the back straight. Daisy Me Rollin' and She's A Rebel collided approaching the third turn. Quavo eased in the home straight and collided with Raven Joe.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Dapiran, the trainer of the greyhound Quavo regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Quavo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Quavo with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dapiran pleaded guilty to the charge. Quavo was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
