Macs Model was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left monkey muscle and neck injuries. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

See Ya Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left elbow. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Chinotto was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injueies to the left wrist and left chest muscle. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Benny Big Head was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered post race nausea. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Mangion, the trainer of the greyhound See Ya Mate regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged See Ya Mate with marring. Mr. Mangion pleaded guilty to the charge, See Ya Mate was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Burrawonga Jimbo was a late scratching at 9:12am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stewards spoke with trainer of greyhound Burrawonga Jimbo Mr. J. Birthisel via phone, regarding the late scratching of the greyhound at 9:12am. Mr. Birthisel advised stewards that the late withdrawal of the greyhound was was his error as he was half an hour late in inspecting the dog this morning. Stewards adjourned the matter to consider the evidence.

Merton, the trainer of the greyhound Mighty Storm regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Mighty Storm with marring. Mr. Merton pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mighty Storm was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Jacobs, the trainer of Calvin Candie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Calvin Candie last raced on 28th August 2018. Mr. Jacobs stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell.

Mr. D. Basile trainer of Taxi Jack declared a new weight of 29.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Taxi Jack last raced at 30.9kg.

Batik Print was slow to begin.

Taxi Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Fothergill, the trainer of the greyhound Mister Peanuts regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Mister Peanuts was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mister Peanuts with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Fothergill pleaded guilty to the charge, Mister Peanuts was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Berry, the representative of Powerful Senor regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Powerful Senor last raced on 31st October 2017. Ms. Berry stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a toe injury.

Powerful Senor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Hillbilly Boy trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 33.3kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.19, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.5L. Hillbilly Boy was Cleared to race in blinkers. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Fairytale Ending over the 425mt from box 2, weight 24.5kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.19, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10.25L. Fairytale Ending was Cleared.
