Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was take from Sir Fancy.
Bounce Pass was a late scratching at 8.21pm on 04/02/18 due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Chase On Case was a late scratching at 2.50pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Black Bindi and Senorita Pepe were quick to begin. Sir Fancy was slow to begin. Bandit Brad was checked off Black Bindi approaching the home turn. Black Bindi was checked off Senorita Pepe on the home turn. Gammy's Choice raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Y. Cassidy the trainer of Braemar Bossy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Braemar Bossy last raced on 31/07/17. Ms. Cassidy stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A Braemar Bossy trialled over 315 metres from box 3, weight 29.9kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.18 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 16.5 lengths. Braemar Bossy was not cleared.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Y. Cassidy the trainer of Vallexia regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Vallexia last raced on 17/07/17. Ms. Cassidy stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left triangle muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A Vallexia trialled over 315 metres from box 2, weight 28.7kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.18 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 21 lengths. Vallexia was not cleared.

Parie Shiraz trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 33.6kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.18 secs, the greyhound was beaten by margin of 11.25 lengths. Parie Shiraz was cleared.
