Prior to race 6 outside temperature 29.5 degrees, kennel temperature 18.8 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mac's Intention.
Tat Tubby and Air Commander were quick to begin. Some Spark was slow to begin. Winlock Hadley, Mac's Intention and Nareen collided on the first turn. Matty Mateusz and Air Commander collided approaching the second turn checking Air Commander. Mac's Intention faltered on the second turn, lost ground and pulled up as a result. Winlock Hadley raced wide in the back straight. Tat Tubby and Matty Mateusz collided entering the home straight.
Mac's Intention was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left hock. The greyhound was humanely euthanased.
