Swift Gem was quick to begin.  Old Sandy Pub and Lady Bang Bang were slow to begin.  Swift Gem and Scooby Scooby Do collided soon after the start checking Scooby Scooby Do.  Old Sandy Pub, Lady Bang Bang and Scooby Scooby Do collided approaching the first turn.  Octo Flash and What A Diva collided on the first turn.  Bowie Boy and What A Diva  collided approaching the home turn checking What A Diva.  What A Diva raced wide entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Spud.

Flash Frankie and Sandtrack Sniper were slow to begin.  Misload, Qatar Girl and Secret Love collided approaching the first turn checking Qatar Girl and severely checking Misload.  Zipping Spud, Peaked and Power Gem collided on the first turn checking Peaked and Power Gem;  Power Gem lost ground and tailed off as a result.  Flash Frankie and Sandtrack Sniper collided on the first turn.  Misload raced wide in the home straight.

Power Gem was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jugdes notified Stewards that the first split of 4.90 semaphored was incorrect and was subsequently hand timed at 5.20.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. T. Kennedy Harris, the trainer of Cruisy's Patch regarding her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. (GAR 46).

A pre-race sample was unable to be taken from Cruisy's Patch due to the trainer of the greyhound not arriving at the kennels at the appointed time, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fourth Dimention.

Captain Jackie and Where's Lachie were slow to begin.  Titanium Boy, Miss Malaysia, Jetyra Buckskin and Fabulous Gee collided approaching the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Titanium Boy checked off Miss Malaysia on the first turn.  Miss Malaysia checked off Jetyra Buckskin on the second turn.  Fourth Dimention and Rocketing Ruby collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Captain Jackie and Fourth Dimention collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds and checking Where's Lachie which raced wide as a result.

Zebo Bale was quick to begin.  Fabulous Show was slow to begin.  Stir Fry Shrimp and Will Dazzle collided soon after the strat.  Fabulous Show and Stir Fry Shrimp collided approaching the first turn.  Takaho Tiger, Folding Green and Will Dazzle collided on the first turn severely checking Folding Green.  Stir Fry Shrimp checked off Will Dazzle approaching the home turn.  Nitro Hook and Denied Justice collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Nitro Hook checked off Denied Justice in the home straight.  Folding Green checked off Stir Fry Shrimp approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Azza.

Daisy Patch and Holyfield were quick to begin.  Azza was slow to begin.  Azza clipped the heels of Cosmic Yessam approaching the first turn and contacted the running rail.  Supa Shalala, Cosmic Yessam, Lilty Allen, Paddy's Cripp and Lakeview Lyn collided approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Yessam.  Cosmic Yessam and Lakeview Lyn collided approaching the home turn.  Supa Shalala and Daisy Patch collided approaching the home turn checking Daisy Patch.  Lilty Allen and Holyfield collided approaching the home turn.  Paddy's Cripp raced wide on the home turn.  Lilty Allen and Holyfield collided approaching the winning post.

Resplando, Two Dollar Pots and Wild Hunny were quick to begin.  Jacey Allen was slow to begin.  Trademark Rocky, Renaldo and Silvio Dante collided soon after the start checking Renaldo and Jacey Allen.  Silvio Dante and Wild Hunny collided on the second turn checking Wild Hunny.

A pre-race sample was unable to be taken from Jacey Allen due to representative of the greyhound not arriving at the kennels at the appointed time, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bluehawk Robert.

Spin The Trolley was slow to begin.  Sassy Slyder went up with the lids at box rise.  Spin The Trolley checked off Lieu Knee Annie on the first turn.  Oz Wizard, Lieu Knee Annie and Spin The Trolley collided approaching the home turn checking Oz Wizard and Spin The Trolley.  Swanny Flyer checked off Sassy Slyder on the home turn.  Flash Bobbie raced wide on the home turn.  Lieu Knee Annie and Spin The Trolley collided several times in the home straight.

Sure Load was quick to begin.  Sir Badger checked off Remo Gully approaching the first turn.  Sir Badger contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Remo Gully and One Way Ticket collided on the first turn checking One Way Ticket.  Sure Load raced wide in the home straight.

Shiro was a late scratching at 11:50am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury (split webbing left hindleg).  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Names Rhonda was quick to begin.  Get The Gaff and Zipping Emma were slow to begin.  Fairy Where checked off Octo Burn on the first turn checking Bomber Lane and Get The Gaff.  My Names Rhonda and Coco Marlow collided on the home turn.  Octo Burn and Fairy Where collided on the home turn.  Coco Marlow and Zipping Emma collided entering the home straight.  Get The Gaff raced wide in the home straight. Octo Burn, Fairy Where, My Names Rhonda, Coco Marlow and Zipping Emma collided approaching the winning post checking Fairy Where, My Names Rhonda and Zipping Emma.  

Get The Gaff was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Take Home Sadie trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 24.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 26.57, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of .25 lengths. Take Home Sadie was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Slick Slicker trialled over the 440m from box 7, weight 32.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 26.57, the greyhound was beaten by a margin 1.50 lengths. Slick Slicker was Not Cleared.
