Steward's Report
Shiro was a late scratching at 11:50am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury (split webbing left hindleg). A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bomber Lane.
My Names Rhonda was quick to begin. Get The Gaff and Zipping Emma were slow to begin. Fairy Where checked off Octo Burn on the first turn checking Bomber Lane and Get The Gaff. My Names Rhonda and Coco Marlow collided on the home turn. Octo Burn and Fairy Where collided on the home turn. Coco Marlow and Zipping Emma collided entering the home straight. Get The Gaff raced wide in the home straight. Octo Burn, Fairy Where, My Names Rhonda, Coco Marlow and Zipping Emma collided approaching the winning post checking Fairy Where, My Names Rhonda and Zipping Emma.
Get The Gaff was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
