Steward's Report
A urine sample was taken from Mr. Pendles this morning.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Helleren Senior, the representative of Flying Elite regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Flying Elite last raced on 6th April 2017. Mr Helleren stated that the greyhound was returning from an extended spell for various injuries.
Yangtze and Hollywood Nights were slow to begin.
Hollywood Nights hit the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Flying Elite and Yangtze collided on the first turn checking Flying Elite. Yangtze and Mr. Pendles collided approaching the home turn.
Hollywood Nights was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
