Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Stemmer, the trainer of Fawn Nova, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fawn Nova last raced on 29 January 2018. Mr Stemmer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a back muscle injury and seasonal spell.
Stewards spoke to Ms Debbie Selleck, the representative of Ants In Pants, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ants In Pants last raced on 27 March 2018. Ms Selleck stated that the greyound was returning to racing following a left sesamoid injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Jimmy's Angel.
Beluga Diamond and Ants In Pants were slow to begin. Jimmy's Angel and Sazoo Icon collided soon after the start. Fawn Nova, Ants In Pants and Miss Dozer collided soon after the start, checking Fawn Nova. Why Not Jojo checked off White Line Lass on the first turn. Jimmy's Angel and Miss Dozer raced wide on the home turn. White Line Lass and Miss Dozer collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
