A pre-race sample was taken from Chase On Case.
Nitro Hook was quick to begin. Chase On Case and Viewing collided soon after the start severely checking Chase On Case. Shogun Sammy, Just Blacky and Bandit Brad collided on the first turn.

Pursuant to LR 12.7, Ms A. Pizarro was stood down from catching after it was discovered her licence had expired.
Re-vetted greyhound - It's A Thrill was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of the meeting and was cleared to race.
