Aston Utah was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

A sample was aken from Dual Keroma, winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr R.Coleman, the trainer of Slingshot Blitz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Slingshot Blitz last raced on 18 March, 2018. Mr Coleman stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennels.

Carson County and Bomber's Baby collided soon after the start. All Inn Taylor and Salute The Judge collided approaching the first turn. Deep Creek Girl, All Inn Taylor, Bomber's baby and Carson County collided approaching the first turn checking Bomber's Baby. Flying Apollo and Slingshot Blitz collided on the first turn severely checking Slingshot Blitz. Carson County contacted the running rail on the home turn. Bomber's Baby contacted the running rail entering the home straight and tailed off.

Carson County was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the trunk. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Bomber's baby was vetted and re-vetted following event 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound and injuries to the left shoulder and groin. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Paisley was quick to begin.

Manila Bala was slow to begin.

Painted Elvry and Golden Blaze collided soon after the start checking Golden Blaze. Golden Blaze and Manila Bala collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Manila Bala. Manila Bala was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions. No stand down period was imposed.

Mr G.Green trainer of Bomber's Return declared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bomber's Return last raced at 33.7kg.

Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin.

Texas Blaze was slow to begin.

Texas Blaze and Eden Lass collided soon after the start checking Texas Blaze. Oshkosh Jay and Bomber's return collided approaching the first turn. Wings For Woody and Texas Blaze collided on the first turn checking Wings For Woody which lost ground. Aston Ninja and Bomber's Return collided approaching the home turn. Oshkosh Jay and Texas Blaze collided on the home turn checking Oshkosk Jay. Eden Lass and Chrissy Pee collided on the home turn.

Wings For Woody was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right groin and hip. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr B.Hiscock, the trainer of Sergei regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sergei last raced on 10 January, 2018. Mr Hiscock stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a right deltoid injury.

Perfect Project was very slow to begin (4L).

Queen Coriander and Ruby Rads collided soon after the start checking Ruby Rads. Perfect Project, Ruby Rads and All Jokes Aside collided on the first turn checking Ruby Rads and All Jokes Aside. Perfect Project and Dr. Jezabel collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Jezabel. Dr. Jezabel, Ruby Rads and All Jokes Aside collided on the home turn checking Dr. Jezabel and Ruby Rads. Pa's Girl lost ground in the home straight and collided with All Jokes Aside and Sergei.

Pa's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the pelvis, hip and groin. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Klemke, the trainer of Lezak regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Lezak last raced on 16th November 2017. Mr. Klemke stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Lezak trialled over the 450mts from box 2, weight 31.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.4, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75L. Lezak was cleared.

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Oscar De Lonhro was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was Cleared to race.
