Manners A Miss and Miyagi Magic collided soon after the start. Miyagi Magic and Undenied Access collided approaching the first turn. Wendell Allen and Miyagi Magic collided approaching the first turn, checking Wendell Allen. Wendell Allen, Manners A Miss and Undenied Access collided on the first turn, checking Manners A Miss and Undenied, and severely checking Wendell Allen which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Bourbski Bar checked off Run The Route on the first turn. Miyagi Magic, Run The Route and Dyna Elliot collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Elliot eased and failed to pursue the lure with due committement on the home turn. Bourbski Bar, Miyagi Magic and Dyna Elliot collided in the home straight, checking all three greyhounds.

Wendell Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustianed feet abrasions and sand toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr George Dailly, the kennel representative for the greyhound Dyna Elliot, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Dyna Elliot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot, no veterinary stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Elliot with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Dailly pleaded guily to the charge, Dyna Elliot was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
