A pre-race sample was taken from Screaming Oaks.
Apila Cash and Hello Nimble were slow to begin.
Gone Early and Apila Cash collided soon after the start. Zafonic Express faltered soon after the start and subsequently tailed off. Gone Early and Open Mind collided approaching the home turn.
Zafonic Express was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left back muscle injury, a 60 stand down period was imposed.
