Sunny's Kayo was slow to begin.  Spin The Trolley and Fourth Dimension collided soon after the start.  Ohana Sparkles checked off Kauai approaching the first turn.  Dyna Alice, Midnight Storm and Bowon Approach collided on the first turn.  Dyna Alice and Midnight Storm collided approaching the second turn checking Sunny's Kayo, Dyna Alice and Midnight Storm.  Midnight Storm crossed in approaching the second turn and collided with Dyna Alice, severely checking Spin The Trolley.  Sunny's Kayo, Dyna Alice and Midnight Storm collided on the second turn checking Midnight Storm.  Midnight Storm and Bowon Approach collided on the third turn causing Midnight Storm to gallop on the heels of Bowon Approach, checking Spin The Trolley, Midnight Storm and Bowon Approach.

Our Charlie Rose was slow to begin.  Tip Toe Traction and Our Charlie Rose collided on the first turn checking Tip Toe Traction.  Vitaliser and Issy Keats collided on the first turn.  Our Charlie Rose galloped on  Nitro Hook approaching the home turn checking Nitro Hook.  Our Charlie Rose marred Nitro Hook on the home turn, checking Nitro Hook and causing Fallen Star and Unique Olivia to race wide.  Our Charlie Rose marred Nitro Hook in the home straight and collided several times to the winning post.

Our Charlie Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury with the greyhound.  Stewards spoke to  Mrs S. Chignell, Owner of the greyhound.  Acting under GAR 69(1), stewards charged Our Charlie Rose with marring.  Mrs Chignell pleaded guilty to the charge, Our Charlie Rose was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Vladimir Rose and Knew It collided soon after the start.  Premier Jess and Daintree Dynamo collided on the first turn.  Our Echo Rose, Vladimir Rose and Knew It collided on the first turn checking Knew It.  Daintree Dynamo checked off Premier Jess on the second turn.  Aston Hinkley checked off Sharp Missile in the home straight.

Lilty Allen trialled over the 395m from box 6, weight 28.4kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.The time of the trial was 23.07.  The greyhound won by a margin of 2.5 lengths.  Lilty Allen was cleared.
