Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Fallen Star.
Our Charlie Rose was slow to begin. Tip Toe Traction and Our Charlie Rose collided on the first turn checking Tip Toe Traction. Vitaliser and Issy Keats collided on the first turn. Our Charlie Rose galloped on Nitro Hook approaching the home turn checking Nitro Hook. Our Charlie Rose marred Nitro Hook on the home turn, checking Nitro Hook and causing Fallen Star and Unique Olivia to race wide. Our Charlie Rose marred Nitro Hook in the home straight and collided several times to the winning post.
Our Charlie Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury with the greyhound. Stewards spoke to Mrs S. Chignell, Owner of the greyhound. Acting under GAR 69(1), stewards charged Our Charlie Rose with marring. Mrs Chignell pleaded guilty to the charge, Our Charlie Rose was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
