Steward's Report
Angie was a late scratching at 12.06pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre- race sample was taken from Blue Tornado.
Blue Tornado, Gypsy Rules and Santana were slow to begin.
Blue Tornado and Gypsy Rules collided approaching the first turn, checking Blue Tornado. Blue Tornado raced wide on the first turn and again on the home turn. Red Octane raced wide in the home straight.
Blue Tornado was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms Fiona Stevens, the trainer of Blue Tornado regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the back straight.
