Stewards spoke to Mr. Ben George, the trainer of Flying Queen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Flying Queen last race on 22 January, 2018 and is returning to racing following a seasonal spell.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hurricane Billie. 

Marvo Mike and Lil' Miss Willow were slow to begin. 

Flying Queen and Hurricane Billie collided soon after the start. Flying Queen crossed in on the first turn, checking Bowie Boy. Miss Zok Dee and Elphaba Oz collided approaching the home turn, checking Miss Zok Dee. Goldie's Nugget checked off Elphaba Oz approaching the home turn, checking Marvo Mike, Miss Zok Dee, Elphaba Oz, Bowie Boy, Hurricane Billie and Lil' Miss Willow and severely checking Goldie's Nugget, which stumbled and lost considerable ground; Causing Marvo Mike, Miss Zok Dee and Hurricane Billie to race wide. Marvo Mike raced wide in the home straight. 

Goldie's Nugget was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hind metatarsal. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Angie was a late scratching at 12.06pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre- race sample was taken from Blue Tornado.

Blue Tornado, Gypsy Rules and Santana were slow to begin.

Blue Tornado and Gypsy Rules collided approaching the first turn, checking Blue Tornado. Blue Tornado raced wide on the first turn and again on the home turn. Red Octane raced wide in the home straight. 

Blue Tornado was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards issued a warning to Ms Fiona Stevens, the trainer of Blue Tornado regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the back straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs Sue Northway, the trainer of Supercity Star regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.Supercity Star last race on 13 February, 2018 and is returning to racing following a seasonal spell and change of kennel. 

A pre- race sample was taken from He's A Natural. 

Shimmy Dat Ray went up with the lids at box rise. Sergent Schultz, Gunmetal Liam, Buddie's Al and Shimmy Dat Ray were slow to begin. 

We Love Spolly and Rajasthan collided approaching the first turn, checking Rajasthan. Sergent Schultz and We Love Spolly collided approaching the first turn, checking We Love Spolly. Buddie's Al raced wide in the home straight.

Cosmic Breeze was slow to begin.

Cosmic Breeze and Voluptuous Blue collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Meehan Phil and Not Loitering collided approaching the first turn, checking Not Loitering and Speedway Lass. Alina Grand faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Voluptuous Blue and Not Loitering collided approaching the home turn, checking Voluptuous Blue. 

Alina Grand was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre- race sample was taken from Eminence Keroma.

Eminence Keroma, Brandeen Fi, Magnus Keroma and Flying Storm were slow to begin.

Nimble Lucy and Shrek's Rusty collided on the first turn, checking Nimble Lucy, Voluptuous Ruby and Flying Storm and causing Magnus Keroma to gallop on Flying Storm; both greyhounds lost considerable ground as a result. Potere and Shrek's Rusty collided approaching the winning post.

Suzy Nitro and Middle Trucker were quick to begin. 

Totally Fab crossed in on the first turn, checking Suzy Nitro and Aruma Girl. Charlie Haze and Middle Trucker collided approaching the home turn, checking Three Scoops, Charlie Haze and Temujin.

He's A Freebie was a late scratching at 2:35pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Ben Divirgilio, the representative for Zipping Mulga declared a new weight of 33.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zipping Mulga last raced at 32.6kgs.

Trey Smidge stumbled soon after the start. Take Home Sadie checked off Siver Lightning on the first turn. Make It Happen and Siver Lightning collided on the first turn, checking Siver Lightning. Make It Happen and Siver Lightning collided entering the home straight, causing Take Home Sadie to gallop on Siver Lightning.

Satisfactory Trial Results -

Big Butterbean trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 29.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 10.75L . Big Butterbean was Cleared.

Little Bala trialled over the 400m from box 2, weight 30.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.75L. Little Bala was Cleared. 

Bekim Instinct trialled over the 400m from box 8, weight 27.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.75, he greyhound beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Bekim Instinct was Cleared. 

Stewards spoke to Mr William Bickerton, the trainer of Miss Fab regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Miss Fab last raced on 21 November, 2017. Mr Bickerton stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after being on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miss Fab trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 29.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.75L. Miss Fab was Cleared

Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Nibbs, the trainer of Miss Crazy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Miss Crazy last raced on 17 August, 2017. Mr Nibbs stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after being on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miss Crazy trialled over the 400m from box 4, weight 28.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.75, the greyhound won by a margin of 8.75L. Miss Crazy was Cleared.
