He's A Freebie was a late scratching at 2:35pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Ben Divirgilio, the representative for Zipping Mulga declared a new weight of 33.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zipping Mulga last raced at 32.6kgs.
A pre- race sample was taken from Rapanui Surprise.
Amlin Freddie was quick to begin.
Oriental Rhys and Rapanui Surprise collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Amlin Freddie and Killara John collided on the first turn, checking Killara John. Oriental Rhys checked off Rapanui Surprise on the home turn. Bags Of Bucks and Amlin Freddie collided in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Ballistic Gem and Zipping Mulga collided approaching the winning post.
