Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Delbridge, the trainer of Go Laverne Go regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Go Laverne Go last raced on 25th February 2018 and is returning to race after a change of kennels.
Calabrese Bullet and Theatrics Show collided soon after the start. Tashendo and Crackerjack Tim collided soon after the start. Hearing De Novo, Go Laverne Go and Tashendo collided approaching the first turn checking Tashendo. Calabrese Bullet and Tashendo collided on the first turn.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Go Laverne Go, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
