Ima Mystery Girl and Zipping Cobra collided soon after the start, checking Zipping Cobra. Zipping Cobra and I'm Tipping Don collided soon after the start. Fly Night, Phoenix Fernando, Eadie Gee, Stevie Jane and Zipping Klemmer collided soon after the start, checking Eadie Gee, Phoenix Fernando, Stevie Jane and Zipping Klemmer. Stevie Jane, Zipping Cobra and I'm Tipping Don collided approaching the first turn. I'm Tipping Don and Zipping Cobra collided on the first turn, checking I'm Tipping Don. Phoenix Fernando and Fly Night collided on the first turn. Stevie Jane and Zipping Cobra collided on the second turn. Phoenix Fernando and I'm Tipping Don collided on the third turn. Fly Night and Zipping Cobra collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Eadie Gee crossed wide entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Reiko Ablett.

Tyson's A Rebel, Come Home and Revved Up Dee collided soon after the start, checking Revved Up Dee. Tyson's A Rebel, Come Home and Antarctic Lass collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Tyson's A Rebel and Come Home. Antarctic Lass, Reiko Ablett and Geller Allen collided on the first turn, checking Reiko Ablett and Geller Allen. Revved Up Dee and Antarctic Lass collided on the third turn, checking both greyhounds; Antarctic Lass became unbalanced and raced wide as a result, checking Reiko Ablett. Tyson's A Rebel and Come Home collided approaching the home turn. Chill Out Chris checked off Tyson's A Rebel in the home straight. Tyson's A Rebel and Chill Out Chris collided approaching the winning post.

Antarctic Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

A sample was taken from Revved Up Dee, the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Impala.

Whiney Whine was slow to begin.

Impala and Amy Amour collided soon after the start. Alpha Venus, Weetbix Bites, Double Ya Back and Amy Amour collided soon after the start, checking Weetbix Bites, Double Ya Back and Amy Amour. Secret Message, Weetbix Bites and Alpha Venus collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Impala crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Miss Payne and Whiney Whine.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lena Lake.

Mo Dragon, Magic Buddie and Lena Lake collided soon after the start, checking Lena Lake and Magic Buddie. Sisco Dun and Mo Dragon collided on the first turn.

Magic Buddie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left long head triceps (monkey) and pectoral (chest) muscles. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Zipping Monty, the winner of the event.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Tiger Dusty, scratched from this event, on 7 May 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cosmic Tilly.

Fast Car Driving and Lila Bale were slow to begin.

Dyna Nina and Cosmic Tilly collided soon after the start. Jaclyn Bale and Boil Over collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Jacqui Shoshone, Dyna Nina and Cosmic Tilly collided on the first turn. Jaclyn Bale, Boil Over and Fast Car Driving collided on the first turn, checking Boil Over. Jaclyn Bale, Dyna Nina and Boil Over collided on the second turn, checking Dyna Nina and Boil Over. Jacqui Shoshone and Fast Car Driving collided on the home turn. Jaclyn Bale and Reid Star collided in the home straight.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), starter R Le Seur did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zambora Tyler.

Quartz Vein was quick to begin. Nareen and Dyna Zad were slow to begin.

Royal Intention, Destini Cavalier and Azkaban collided soon after the start. Destini Cavalier and Dyna Zad collided entering the front straight. Quartz Vein and Zambora Tyler collided on the first turn, checking Quartz Vein and Royal Intention. Royal Intention and Destini Cavalier collided entering the home straight. Nareen checked off Destini Cavalier entering the home straight and stumbled as a result.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Tiger Dusty, engaged in this event, on 7 May 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Loch Monster.

Loch Monster and Tiger Dusty were slow to begin.

Undisputed, Ace Ventura, Tiger Dusty and Loch Monster collided soon after the start, checking all four greyhounds.

Ace Ventura was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left gracilis (back) muscle, and sand toe on the right front foot. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.

Tuggeragh was a late scratching at 5.38pm yesterday (8 May) due to injury (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Werner Bale.

Nangar Range, So Amazing, Flying Cash, Dyna Uni and Cruisy's Rose collided soon after the start, checking So Amazing, Flying Cash and Dyna Uni. Flying Cash and So Amazing collided approaching the first turn. Cruisy's Rose and Peter Yap collided on the third turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr Clive McLennan, the trainer of the greyhound Nangar Range, and issued a severe reprimand after it was established that he initially placed the incorrect rug on the greyhound, pursuant to GAR 46(1).

A pre-race sample was taken from Aeroplane Mo.

Memphis Sky and Liberty Tron collided soon after the start, checking Liberty Tron. Aeroplane Mo, Memphis Sky and Tahleia Brae collided on the first turn, checking Memphis Sky and Tahleia Brae. Aeroplane Mo and Sisco Ride collided on the home turn.

Run Ronnie Run was a late scratching at 7.50am due to injury (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lucille Dior.

Lucille Dior and El Diamonte collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Seminole Wind and Why Not Kylie collided approaching the first turn. You Rippa Rippa and Lucille Dior collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Seminole Wind and El Diamonte collided entering the home straight.

You Rippa Rippa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising and a laceration to the left hind hock. A three-day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Mepunga Bella, the winner of the event.

Cooper Scooper was a late scratching at 4.32pm yesterday (May 8) due to illness (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Zeus.

Mepunga Zeus and Spokane Flick were quick to begin. Graphite County, Big Cold Burst and Go Didda Go were slow to begin.

Big Cold Burst, Go Didda Go and Vis Vitae collided on the first turn, checking Vis Vitae. Go Didda Go and Destini Rocket collided on the first turn. Spokane Flick and Mepunga Zeus collided entering the home straight.

Supplementary Report 10/5/18:

Stewards spoke with Mr.T.Scott, the trainer of Cooper Scooper regarding the late scratching of greyhound.  Mr.Scott advised that blood test results and subsequent vet advice on the afternoon of May 8 led to the greyhound being withdrawn just after the 4.30pm scratching deadline. Stewards accepted the explanation and reminded Mr.Scott that any such instances in the future be dealt with prior to the relevant meeting scratching deadline.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ziggy Punter.

It's Magic was slow to begin.

All Inn Baz and Striking Weetbix collided approaching the first turn. Striking Weetbix and Ziggy Punter collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Ziggy Punter and Half Day Harry collided on the first turn, severely checking Half Day Harry, and Ziggy Punter which failed to finish. All Inn Baz checked off Bella Express on the second turn. All Inn Baz and Bella Express collided on the third turn. Striking Weetbix and French Defence collided on the home turn. Bella Express, French Defence and It's Magic collided in the home turn.

Ziggy Punter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.

Half Day Harry was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both gracilis (back) muscles. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
