Steward's Report
Vee Bee Mate and Ninety Proof collided soon after the start. Blackjack Cruise, Speedway Lass and Sneak Preview collided approaching the first turn. Speedway Lass, Sneak Preview and Vee Bee Mate collided on the first turn. Blackjack Cruise, Lady Simmeron and Vitaliser collided on the first turn checking Lady Simmeron. Vee Bee Mate clipped the heels of Fruit Frames on the home turn.
Following the event Vitaliser displayed signs of distress on return to the kennels but had recovered shortly after on veterinary examination. No stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Walker, the trainer of Vitaliser and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.
Vee Bee Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was that no apparent injury found.
