Stewards spoke to Mr J.McClelland, the trainer of Gotta Bandit regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Gotta Bandit last raced on 29 December, 2017. Mr McClelland stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of trainer and spell.

Stewards spoke to Mr P.Martinovic, the trainer of Stella View regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Stella View last raced on 21 December, 2017. Mr Martinovic stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a spell.

Mr. J. McClelland, trainer of Gotta Bandit declared a new weight of 33.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gotta Bandit last raced at 31.9kg.

Lara's Double and Flying Elite were quick to begin. Becket, Gotta Bandit and Black Rose Texas were slow to begin. Kraken Greta and Becket collided soon after the start. Kraken Greta checked off Lara's Double on the first turn checking Kraken Greta, Disco Lemonade and Stella View. Lara's Double and Disco Lemonade collided several times in the home straight.

Inside Game, Buy Me Diamonds, You Blonde, I'm All One, Doran's Grove and Argyle Roxanne collided on the first turn checking Buy Me Diamonds and Argyle Roxanne and severely checking Doran's Grove and Winlock Patches casuing both greyhounds to lose ground. Inside Game and Shady Whip collided entering the home straight and in the home straight checking Shady Whip.

Daisy Me Rollin' galloped on the heels of Raven Joe approaching the second turn checking Cordillo. Midnight Mystery and Hardaway Kate collided on the second turn. Daisy Me Rollin' and Midnight Mystery collided on the third turn and again on the home turn checking Daisy Me Rollin'

Daintree Prinz and Why Not Dean were slow to begin. Hardy's Banjo, Lorella and Little Dynamo collided on the first turn checking Lorella, Little Dynamo and Detroit Wally. Detroit Wally and Little Dynamo collided approaching the second turn checking Detroit Wally. Daintree Prinz and Minnie Ha Ha collided approaching the home turn. Minnie Ha Ha and Daintree Prinz collided several times entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Detroit Wally was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to handler Mr. G. Webb regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Why Not Dean.  Stewards directed that Why Not Dean be boxed first in future events.

Vee Bee Mate and Ninety Proof collided soon after the start. Blackjack Cruise, Speedway Lass and Sneak Preview collided approaching the first turn. Speedway Lass, Sneak Preview and Vee Bee Mate collided on the first turn. Blackjack Cruise, Lady Simmeron and Vitaliser collided on the first turn checking Lady Simmeron. Vee Bee Mate clipped the heels of Fruit Frames on the home turn.

Following the event Vitaliser displayed signs of distress on return to the kennels but had recovered shortly after on veterinary examination. No stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Walker, the trainer of Vitaliser and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

Vee Bee Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was that no apparent injury found.

Missy Marlus aand Damaging Lomar were slow to begin. Eden Lass was very slow to begin (3L). Lady Pippa and Swell It Is collided approaching the first turn. Eden Lass and Missy Marlus collided approaching the first turn checking Missy Marlus. Double Dealer, Damaging Lomar, Lady Pippa and Swell It Is collided on the first turn checking Lady Pippa. Double Dealer, Damaging Lomar and Eden Lass approaching the home turn. Eden Lass and Damaging Lomar collided on the home turn.

Miss Flower and Smashing Serena collided on the first turn checking Miss Flower. Liberty Diamond and Smashing Serena collided approaching the home turn. Kowari raced wide in the home straight. Satisfactory Trial Results - Fast Freddie trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 29.6kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.30, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.25L. Fast Freddie was cleared.
