Steward's Report
Faster Bolt was slow to begin. Bont's Magic and Spyfection collided soon after the start. Go Seek Fernando, Dimitri Bale and Liscoyle Lass collided on the first turn, checking Liscoyle Lass. Bont's Magic and Go See Fernando collided approaching the second turn. Go Seek Fernando, Dimitri Bale and Faster Bolt collided on the second turn, checking Go Seek Fernando and Faster Bolt. Spyfection checked off the heels of Faster Bolt entering the home straight.
Liscoyle Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr Benjamin Abela, trainer of Liscoyle Lass, regarding the greyhound's performance in this event. Mr Abela stated that the greyhound had been trialling well, but was racing in a higher grade today and in his opinion the greyhound lost momentum after being checked. Stewards accepted Mr Abela's explanation and no further action was taken.
