Pursuant to GAR 104(6) starter Mr R le Sueur did not act in any official capacity for this event and was replaced by Mr J Nichols.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mumma's Meatloaf upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Quartz Vein was quick to begin. Meehan Sox and Werner Bale were slow to begin.
Shanakee, Mumma's Meatloaf and Dyna Carnie collided on the first turn, checking Mumma's Meatloaf. Dyna Carnie checked off the heels of Quartz Vein on the first turn and collided with Tahleia Brae. Happy tails and Werner Bale collided on the first turn. Dyna Carnie galloped on the heels of Tahleia Brae on the first turn. Mumma's Meatloaf and Meehan Sox collided on the first turn. Happy Tails galloped on the heels of Werner Bale on the second turn. Shanakee and Werner Bale collided on the home turn.
