Steward's Report
Out of Competition Samples were taken from Legal and Just Blacky engaged in this event on 13 March 2018, pursuant to GAR 79A.
Tinderella was quick to begin. Buckle Up Scotch and Roland View were slow to begin.
Crash Reality checked off Legal approaching the first turn. Senni Richard galloped on Tinderella on the first turn checking Crash Reality, Roland View, Senni Richard, Just Blacky, In Dee Genes and severely checking Tinderella causing Legal to falter and subsequently pull up. Just Blacky and Senni Richard collided entering the home straight severely checking Senni Richard and Crash Reality, Senni Richard stumbled and lost considerable ground.
Legal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right radius/ulna fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Senni Richard was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury and an abrasion to the right hind foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Tinderella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left and rigth hind feet, a 3 day stand down period was impsosed.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Chinookan Blue trialled over the 311mtrs from box 1, weight 30.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.72, the greyhound won by a margin of 4 1/2 lengths. Chinookan Blue was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr P. Trim, the representative of Paws And Go regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Paws And Go last raced on 6 July 2017, Mr Trim stated that te greyhound was returning from a grass seed removal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Paws And Go trialled over the 311mtrs from box 8, weight 37.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.72, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 1/2 lengths. Paws And Go was Cleared.
