Unique Spirit was quick to begin.
Almani Tee Rex and Miss Cotton Sox collided soon after the start. Punt Road Girl, Mia Maestro and Rustic Rose collided soon after the start checking Punt Road Girl. Miss Cotton Sox and Mia Maestro collided on the first turn checking Mia Maestro which collided with Rustic Rose causing Rustic Rose and Golden Aura to fall checking Almani Tee Rex. Punt Road Girl and Mia Maestro collided entering the home straight. Mia Maestro raced wide in the home straight.
Golden Aura was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor lacerations to both front limbs. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
Rustic Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the back muscle and both hind limbs. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
