A pre-race sample was taken from Parish Power.
Dyna Nancy was slow to begin.
Elram Girl, Voluptuous Blue, Blank Page and Shrek's Typhoon collided soon after the start. Elram Girl, Voluptuous Blue, and Shrek's Typhoon collided approaching the first turn checking Voluptuous Blue. Dyna Nancy, Dellmo, Elram Girl and Shrek's Typhoon collided on the first turn causing Dyna Nancy to gallop on Dellmo checking Dellmo, Shrek's Typhoon, Early Flight and severely checking Dyna Nancy, Blank Page, Voluptuous Blue and Elram Girl, Elram Girl stumbled and lost ground as a result. Dyna Nancy and Voluptuous Blue collided entering the home straight.
Elram Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke with Miss Kim Ryan the trainer of Early Flight and reminded her of her responsibilities in taking a directive from the stater, after boxing her greyhound prematurely with the first line. GAR (51)(10)(a).
