A pre-race sample was taken from Vanishka.
Solitary Girl was quick to begin. Vanishka, Miss Judge, Dyna Bitey and Sable Sass collided soon after the start checking Dyna Bitey and Sable Sass. Vanishka, Miss Judge and Vens Revenge collided soon after the start. Vanishka and Vens Revenge collided approaching the first turn. Miss Judge and Dyna Bitey collided on the first turn. Dyna Bitey crossed to the outside approaching the second turn and raced wide. Dyna Bitey faded in the home straight.
Dyna Bitey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
