Steward's Report

True Talent was quick to begin.  Little Big Shot and Nike Viper collided soon after the start.  Nike Viper and Manzeene Magic collided approaching the first turn.  Lylah's Way and Regazzoni collided on the first turn.  Megellas Fairy checked off True Talent on the first turn.  Little Big Shot checked off Megellas Fairy on the first turn and collided heavily with Nike Viper and Memphis Sky; Nike Viper stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Manzeene Man brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Little Big Shot and Regazzoni collided on the third turn.  Manzeene Man checked off Little Big Shot on the third turn.  Memphis Sky and Lylah's Way collided approaching the home turn.  Little Big Shot and Nike Viper collided approaching the home turn.

Nike Viper was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Lisa Delbridge, the handler of Lylah's Way after she attempted to re-position the greyhound's tail during boxing and whilst doing so, the greyhound partially backed out of the starting box. Lylah's Way was re-positioned before the light was turned green and the start effected. The Steward's advised Mrs Delbridge that in future, she is to leave the rear-shutter open no more than two inches to allow the tail pull through. Opening the rear-shutter and re-positioning a greyhound is not to occur when only the tail is protruding.

A sample was taken from True Talent, the winner of the event.
