An out of competition sample was taken from Fabregal engaged in this event on 15/02/18 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Joe's Dolly and Cindeen Jates collided soon after the start. Joe's Dolly and Brazilian Brae collided on the first turn. Cindeen Jates was checked off Brazilian Brae entering the back straight . Sienna's Gem and Brazilian Brae collided on the home turn. American Hustle marred Why Not Ginger entering the home straight. American Hustle and Why Not Ginger collided in the home straight.
American Hustle was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Scott-Smith the trainer of the greyhound American Hustle regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged American Hustle with marring. Mr. Scott-Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, American Hustle was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
