Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Paxton Bale.
Mia Brae was quick to begin. Ringading Bling, Go Go Guru and Radish were slow to begin.
Paxton Bale and Paua To Load collided soon after the start. Paxton Bale and Our Didda collided on the first turn. Our Didda and Radish collided on the first turn. Ringading Bling and Go Go Guru collided several times on the first turn. Ringading Bling galloped on Radish on the home turn. Main One marred Mia Brae in the home straight.
Main One was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right triangle soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Galea, the trainer of the greyhound Main One regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight Acting under GAR 69(1)stewards charged Main One with marring. Mr Galea pleaded not guilty to the charge, Main One was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
