Zetella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to both hind legs. A three-day stand down period was imposed.

Big Tilly, Montana Fernando and Shimmy Dat Ray were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to kennel representative Jai Willoughby regarding handler Dylan Sharp’s difficulties in boxing the greyhound Shining Glitter. Mr Willoughby explained that Mr Sharp was inexperienced and had only boxed three greyhounds on race day. Mr Willoughby was shown the vision of the start and was advised by Stewards to assist in the training of Mr Sharp. Mr Sharp was given advice by the Starter post-race on how to improve the way he boxes greyhounds.

Parvati Grange was slow to begin. Black Legend was very slow to begin (2L).

Suspicious Lee and Rozehill Beth collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Rozehill Beth which lost ground as a result. Scot's Dunker and Fifty Dollar collided several times in the home straight.

Rozehill Beth was vetted and revetted following event nine. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cervico-thoracic injury, a carpal sprain to the right wrist, and injuries to the left tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr James Barnes, the trainer of Fabregas Lara, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fabregas Lara last raced on 3 January 2018. Mr Barnes stated that the greyhound had been spelling.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr John Vassallo, the trainer of Mahlo Hero, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Mahlo Hero last raced on 18 July 2017. Mr Vassallo stated that the greyhound had been season and spelling following a 90-day suspension for marring. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mahlo Hero trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 26.9kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.95, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2L. Mahlo Hero was not cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Dean Jeffries, the trainer of Paris Marie, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Paris Marie last raced on 1 June 2017. Mr Jeffries stated that the greyhound had changed kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Paris Marie trialled over the 400m from box three, weight 27.0kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.95, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10.75L. Paris Marie was cleared.
