Parvati Grange was slow to begin. Black Legend was very slow to begin (2L).
Suspicious Lee and Rozehill Beth collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Rozehill Beth which lost ground as a result. Scot's Dunker and Fifty Dollar collided several times in the home straight.
Rozehill Beth was vetted and revetted following event nine. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cervico-thoracic injury, a carpal sprain to the right wrist, and injuries to the left tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
