Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Kubik, the trainer of In A Jam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. In A Jam last raced on 18th December 2018. Mr. Kubik stated that  the greyhound was new to the kennel. Mr. Kubik, also declared a new weight of 30.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). In A Jam last raced at 32.2kg.

Belena Bold, Dead Eye Dickson and Gone Rusty collided on the first turn checking Dead Eye Dickson and Gone Rusty. Tat Odin checked off Dead Eye Dickson approaching the home turn. Blue Odessa and Seabrook Dill collided in the home straight. Blue Odessa eased approaching the winning post.

Snapchat Queen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Hall, the trainer of the greyhound Blue Odessa regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Blue Odessa with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Hall pleaded guilty to the charge, Blue Odessa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms. G. Lemin, trainer of Sone Of Steve declared a new weight of 31.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Son Of Steve last raced at 29.8kg.
