Steward's Report
Bear Left was slow to begin. Miss Booming crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Unusable, Monster Jam Jack and Mini Tron. Nunnion Miss crossed to the rail at the 250m mark checking Goodnight Irene, causing Goodnight Irene to collide with Miss Booming as a result. Goodnight Irene and Unusable collided at the 200m mark. Goodnight Irene, Unusable and Mini Tron collided approaching the winning post, checking Unusable which stumbled as a result and subsequently fell.
Unusable was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following race 9, it was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the left hip area, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
