Stewards spoke to Ms Chloe Allan, the trainer of Emerley Mee Too regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Emerley Mee Too last raced on 2 January, 2018 and is returning to racing following a change of kennel.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to delays in the kennelling area.
A pre race sample was taken from Azure Dragon.
Shadow Walker stumbled at box rise. Shadow Walker and Emerley Mee Too collided soon after the start. Beast checked off Mickie Raven approaching the 250m mark. Mickie Raven checked off Sunlit Breaker at the 250m mark. Shadow Walker and Emerley Mee Too collided approaching the 150m mark. Shadow Walker, Sunlit Breaker and Avalon Sisco collided at the 150m mark, checking all three greyhounds. Mickie Raven checked off Sunlit Breaker approaching the 100m mark. Azure Dragon crossed to the outside approaching the 50m mark, checking Mickie Raven and Sunlit Breaker. Emerley Mee Too crossed to the rail approaching the 50m mark, checking Shadow Walker.
