Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Starter Mr S. Cowling did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Zipping Nitro and Packey Keeping were slow to begin.
Packey Keeping checked off Jane's Intention soon after the start. Zipping Nitro and Shae's Intention collided on the first turn. Zipping Nitro and Hot Tip collided on the third turn. Destroyer checked off Hot Tip approaching the fourth turn. Shae's Intention and Packey Keeping collided entering the home straight.
Packing Keeping was vetted and re-vetted following event 9 after the greyhound preformed below market expectations. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
