The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Scooter and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 2:14pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms Andrea Condon was fined the sum of $100.
That Will Be was quick to begin.
Lightfoot Lass and Balmoral Bash collided approaching the first turn. That Will Be stumbled approaching the first turn and raced wide. Hurricane Cindy checked off Balmoral Bash on the first turn.
That Will Be was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
