Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Lektra Damage.
Due to a power failure and the boxes subsequently failed to open, a false start was declared. All greyhounds were re-vetted and past fit to race. This event commenced by hard start; the event was also hand timed and no splits were recorded.
Tron's Empire and Harsh Miles were slow to begin.
Lektra Damage crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Spazzy Blue. Harsh Miles crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Kathy's Lady. Tron's Empire crossed to the outside soon after the start. Lektra Damage and Spazzy Blue collided at the 200m mark.
Kathy's Lady was vetted as per false start procedure immediately prior to the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small laceration to the face. No blood was detected and the greyhound was declared fit to race.
