Steward's Report
Ms Brooke Berry, trainer of Arrogant Chapta, declared a new weight of 33.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Arrogant Chapta last raced at 31.9kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Coyote.
Blank Page was quick to begin. Goldenpaw Buzz and Lanis Morris were slow to begin.
Coyote galloped on Lanis Morris on the first turn, causing Coyote to race wide from the first turn to the home straight. Arrogant Chapta checked off Goldenpaw Buzz on the home turn. Lanis Morris raced wide in the home straight.
Arrogant Chapta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the right wrist and spike wound to the left front foot. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Jordyn Naylor regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Fabio's Son. Stewards directed that Fabio's Son be boxed first in future events.
