Mars Rising was slow to begin. Limburg Dan and Ursula Bale collided approaching the first turn. Ocean View and Dewana Dimie collided approaching the first turn. Sports Knight galloped on the heels of Miss Holland on the first turn. Limburg Dan, Ocean View and Miss Holland collided on the first turn. Sports Knight and Mars Rising collided on the first turn. Sports Knight checked off the heels of Mars Rising on the second turn. Miss Holland checked off the heels of Limburg Dan on the home turn. Limburg Dan and Miss Holland collided in the home straight.
