A pre-race sample was taken from Xan Mai.
Turfman and Supraspinatus were slow to begin.
My Mate Wally, Sun Choice, Turfman and Supraspinatus collided soon after the start. My Mate Wally checked off Xan Mai at the 250m mark. My Mate Wally and Supraspinatus collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the winning post.
MEEING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial – Returning from retirement - Bling Dynasty trialled over the 300m from box one, weight 36.2kg; the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 16.76, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.75L. Bling Dynasty was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Ward, the trainer of Alouette Jack, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Alouette Jack last raced on 10 January 2017. Mr Ward stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a right gracilis (back) muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Alouette Jack trialled over the 300m from box three, weight 35.9kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 16.76, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75L. Alouette Jack was cleared.
