Steward's Report
Blackhaven was a late scratching at 2:41pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Meehan Sox.
Small Rose was quick to begin. Light The Track and Meehan Sox were slow to begin. Light The Track and Meehan Sox collided in the back straight and again on the third turn checking Light The Track. Small Rose and Reckoning collided entering the home straight.
Reckoning was vetted after a fall in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hind foot and left hind sand toe, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
