An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Toby Sure on 24 January 2018, pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Challis Sprite.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately two minutes due to delays in the kennelling area.
Challis Sprite and Major Energy collided soon after the start. Mr. Delahoya and Renegade collided at the 250m mark. Longshot Glory and Challis Sprite collided at the 200m mark. Major Energy crossed to the rail at the 150m mark, checking Toby Sure and Longshot Glory. Toby Sure and Major Energy collided at the 100m mark, causing Major Energy to collided with Longshot Glory, checking both greyhounds. Longshot Glory and Major Energy collided several times approaching the winning post. Mr. Delahoya checked off Major Energy approaching the winning post.
