Mr I Bibby, trainer of Crymelon Fettle declared a new weight of 31.8 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Crymelon Fettle last raced at 30.1kg.
This race was re-scheduled to start at 7.11pm.
A pre-race sample was taken from Thanks Cheryl.
Tegz A Riddler was quick to begin.
Fast Freddie, Lektra Oscar and Crymelon Fettle collided soon after the start checking Crymelon Fettle. Thanks Cheryl and Collis Princess collided on the first turn checking Thanks Cheryl. Emily Skye eased approaching the winning post.
Emily Skye was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Gledhill, the trainer of the greyhound Emily Skye regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Emily Skye with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Gledhill pleaded guilty to the charge, Emily Skye was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
