Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Me Bros Bad.
Sicario crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Paxton Bale, Me Bros Bad and Sports Gairn. China Catch 'Em and Facts Don't Lie collided approaching the first turn, checking Paxton Bale and Facts Don't Lie.
Following the event, Stewards spoke to lure driver Mr. C. Hiscock after there was a delay in the initiation of the lure for the start of this event. Mr. Hiscock stated that as he started the lure run up, he noticed the lure did not initiate. As a result, the lure control box was reset and the lure reactivated. Mr. Hiscock explained that when the lure control box is reset it takes a couple of seconds to reactive which resulted in the short delay. Stewards noted Mr. Hiscock's explanation and advised Mr A Bailey, Track Maintenance Specialist from the GRV Racing Department of the matter.
