Steward's Report
Acting on a confirmed phone call from kennel representative K. Evans, Mikey was a late scratching at 11:20am due to a vehicle break down. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
The start time for this event was delayed by approximately one-and-a-half minutes in order to hold for a Northfield Park harness event.
Deadwood Kate crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Flying Rose and Bold Crusade. Able Bess and Belron Bliss collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Little Big Girl raced wide from the home turn to the winning post.
A sample was taken from Invictus Shirley, the winner of the event.
