Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Galloping Ashley.
Elswyk Max was quick to begin.
Mini Load and Stately Kay collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Stately Kay crossed to the rail approaching the winning post, checking Mini Load and Oriental Lord.
Mini Load was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
Galloping Ashley was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound the left hind foot. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
